Redmi 14R Launched in China with Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, 5,160mAh Battery and More

Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 14R smartphone in China as an enhanced variant of the Redmi 14C. Take a look at the details.

Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi 14R in Lavender, Deep Sea Blue, Shadow Black, and Olive Green colourways. The Redmi 14R comes in 4GB + 128GB, 6GB + 128GB, 8GB + 128GB, and 8GB + 256GB variants. The company has priced the smartphone at RMB 1,099 (approx. USD 155), RMB 1,499 (approx. USD 210), RMB 1,699 (approx. USD 240), and RMB 1,899 (approx. USD 265).

Xiaomi equips the Redmi 14R with a 6.88-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a peak brightness of 600 nits, a 240Hz touch sampling rate, TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light, and Flicker Free certification. The Redmi 14R is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

Xiaomi has introduced the smartphone with Hyper OS based on Android 14 out of the box. The Redmi 14R comes with a dual camera setup on the rear with a 13MP primary camera with AI features, f/1.8 aperture, and a secondary AI camera. For selfies, the device features a 5MP snapper with an f/2.0 aperture.

The latest affordable smartphone from Xiaomi is backed by a 5,160mAh battery with support for 18W wired fast charging tech. The other features of the Redmi 14R include a 3.5mm headphone jack, a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and a vegan leather finish on the rear.
