Vivo has confirmed the launch date of the upcoming Vivo X200 series smartphones in China. The company has made the new revelation through its social accounts. Take a look at the details.
Vivo X200 Series Launch Event
Vivo reveals that it will host an event on October 14 in China where it will unveil the next-gen Vivo X200 series smartphones. The brand is yet to confirm the list of the products launching at the upcoming event. We expect Vivo to unveil the vanilla Vivo X200 and Vivo X200 Pro at the upcoming event in China.
Once the Chinese launch is done, Vivo is tipped to launch the Vivo X200 series smartphones for global markets, including India, in December 2024. The upcoming Vivo X200 series smartphones are tipped to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400 SoC. The vanilla Vivo X200 is also expected to sport a 6.3-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
The upcoming vanilla model is also said to sport a 50MP primary camera, a 50MP ultrawide camera, and a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. Vivo is tipped to launch the device with a 5,500mAh / 5,600mAh battery with 90W wired charging support.
In contrast, the Vivo X200 Pro is said to sport a curved OLED display with a similar 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The smartphone will also flaunt a similar triple camera setup on the rear but with better sensors. Vivo is also said to equip the device with a larger 6,000mAh battery, an IP68/IP69 rating, and more.
