HONOR Pad X8a Makes Silent Debut in India: Pre-Orders Live

HONOR has launched the HONOR Pad X8a tablet in India to expand the product lineup in the country. To recall, the Chinese company recently unveiled the HONOR Magic 6 Pro 5G and HONOR 200 5G series smartphones in India.

The HONOR Pad X8a is priced at Rs 12,999 (approx. USD 155) for the lone variant with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage. The tablet is now available for pre-orders through Explore HONOR e-Store in India. HONOR equips the HONOR Pad X8a with an 11-inch IPS LCD display with FHD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate.

The display gets support for 400 nits brightness, 16.7 million colour gamut, TUV Rheinland Low Blue Light certification, and TUV Rheinland Flicker Free certification. The tablet gets large-amplitude quad speaker voice enhancement for a better media consumption experience. HONOR equips the tablet with a 5MP camera on the rear and another 5MP snapper on the front. 

The Pad X8a is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 SoC, paired with support for virtual RAM expansion and a microSD card slot to expand internal storage. HONOR uses a slim metal design for the tablet with a thickness of 7.25 mm and weighs 495 grams. The HONOR Pad X8a is backed by a large 8,300mAh battery with a claimed battery life of 14 hours of video playback.
