OnePlus Ace 5, OnePlus Ace 5 Pro Key Specifications Leaked Ahead of Launch

OnePlus is gearing up for the launch of the successor to the OnePlus Ace 3 and OnePlus Ace 3 Pro smartphones in China. Digital Chat Station, a well-known tipster on Weibo, has revealed the key details of the upcoming smartphone.

OnePlus Ace 5 Series SoC Leaked

The popular tipster on Chinese microblogging platform Weibo confirms that OnePlus will equip the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro with the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 SoC. In contrast, the vanilla OnePlus Ace 5 will debut with the existing Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. The tipster adds that OnePlus is expected to equip the smartphones with a battery size of 6,000 mAh on both devices.

OnePlus is tipped to equip the devices with a dual-cell battery consisting of 3,000 mAh each with support for SuperVOOC fast charging tech. The OnePlus Ace 5 and OnePlus Ace 5 Pro will sport a BOE OLED display with 1.5K resolution and 8T LTPO 120Hz refresh rate. OnePlus will also equip the smartphones with a flat metal frame and in-display fingerprint scanner.

The triple camera setup of the vanilla and Pro models will include a 50MP primary camera and two other cameras. OnePlus is expected to limit the availability of the OnePlus Ace 5 Pro to the Chinese market, similar to its predecessors. On the flip side, the OnePlus Ace 5 will likely make its way to the international markets under the OnePlus 13R 5G marketing name.
