HONOR Magic V3 Goes Global at IFA 2024 Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Triple Cameras and More

HONOR has introduced the HONOR Magic V3 foldable smartphone at the IFA 2024. The company has been teasing the features and specifications of the smartphone for quite a while.

HONOR has launched the foldable smartphone in Reddish Brown, Green, and Black colour options. The Chinese smartphone giant has introduced the smartphone in a sole 12GB + 512GB configuration, which is priced at GBP 1,699.99 (approx. USD 2,240). The Magic V3 is available for pre-booking in the UK and all other regions and will start shipping from October 1.

HONOR equips the foldable smartphone with a thickness of 9.2mm when folded and 4.35mm when unfolded. The HONOR Magic V3 flaunts a 7.92-inch inner screen and a 6.43-inch external screen with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports 4320Hz high-frequency PWM dimming, 5000 nits brightness, Dolby Vision, and stylus support.

HONOR uses Rhino glass for the display protection and debuts with multi-touch and HONOR Eye Comfort Display AI Defocus Display. The smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC paired with LPDDR5X RAM and UFS 4.0 internal storage. The device runs on Magic OS 8.0 based on Android 14 out of the box with support for AI HONOR Notes, AI Eraser, AI Translator and more. The triple camera setup of the HONOR Magic V3 includes a 50MP primary camera with f/1.6 aperture and OIS.

The primary camera is paired with a 50MP periscope telephoto camera with f/3.5 aperture, OIS, 3.5x optical zoom, 100x digital zoom, and a 40MP ultrawide camera with f/2.2 aperture and 112° viewing angle. The HONOR Magic V3 uses a 20MP snapper with f/2.2 aperture, 90° FoV, 4K video shooting on both external and internal screens. The device is backed by a 5150mAh battery with support for 66W SuperCharge and 50W wireless SuperCharge charging tech.
