Motorola has launched the Moto S50 smartphone in China as a vanilla variant of the Moto S50 Neo in China. Take a look at the details.
Moto S50: Pricing, Specifications
Motorola has introduced the smartphone in Persimmon Orange, Flora Blue, and Latte colour options. The Moto S50 is priced at 2,199 yuan (approx. UDS 310) for the base variant with 12GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. In contrast, the 12GB + 512GB configuration is priced at 2,499 yuan (approx. USD 350).
Motorola equips the smartphone with a 6.36-inch pOLED display with 1.5K resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and 3000 nits peak brightness. The display gets Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection to protect from accidental drops. The Moto S50 is powered by the newest MediaTek Dimensity 7300 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.
Motorola debuts the smartphone with a triple camera setup on the rear with a 50MP Sony IMX 896 primary camera with OIS, a 13MP GalaxyCore GC13A2 ultrawide camera with macro capabilities, and a 10MP Samsung S5K3K1 telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom. For selfies, Motorola equips the device with a 32MP snapper.
The Moto S50 is backed by a 4,310mAh battery with support for 68W TurboPower wired fast charging and 15W wireless charging. The smartphone sports an IP68 dust- and water-resistant vegan leather finish on the rear. The curved display of the device houses an in-display fingerprint scanner and gets a dual stereo speaker to enhance the user experience.
