Vivo has launched the Vivo Y300 Pro 5G smartphone in the Chinese markets as a successor to the Vivo Y200 Pro 5G. Take a look at the details.

The Vivo Y300 Pro 5G flaunts a 6.77-inch quad-curved AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The display supports 5000 nits peak brightness, 3840 Hz PWM dimming, 100% DCI P3 wide colour gamut, SGS Low Blue Light certification, and AI personalised protection. Vivo equips the smartphone with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 SoC paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage.

The device runs on Origin OS 14 based on Android 14 out of the box with several AI features. The Vivo Y300 Pro 5G flaunts a dual camera setup on the rear with a 50MP Sony LYT 600 primary camera with f/1.79 aperture, OIS, and a 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, the brand uses a 32MP selfie snapper with f/2.0 aperture.

The highlight of the smartphone is the large 6,500mAh battery backing the smartphone, despite the device measuring 7.69 mm in thickness. The 6,500mAh battery gets support for 80W wired fast charging tech and reverse wireless charging and is claimed to maintain battery health for up to five years.

The other features of the device include an infrared sensor, enhanced network connectivity, a 50-month smooth experience, and more. Vivo has announced the device in Black Jade, White, Gold, and Titanium colours. The device is priced at 1799 yuan (approx. USD 253) for the base variant with 8GB+128GB configuration. The 8GB+256GB, 12GB+256GB, and 12GB+512GB costs 1999 yuan (approx. USD 281), 2199 yuan (approx. USD 309), and 2,499 yuan (approx. USD 352).
