Ulefone has launched the Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra and Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro as part of the brand’s 10th anniversary. The Armor 28 Ultra is the first rugged smartphone from the brand to sport a flagship MediaTek SoC. Take a look at the details of the smartphone.

Ulefone is yet to confirm the pricing of the Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra and the Armor Mini 20T Pro rugged smartphones. The smartphones will go official in the global markets starting November and October. The Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC paired with 16GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage.

Ulefone equips the smartphone with IP68 dust and water resistance up to 2m/6.6ft for 30 minutes and IP69K (hot water jets). The rugged smartphone brand claims that the device has 2m/6.6ft drop resistance and survive extreme temperatures ranging between -30°C and 55°C. The Armor 28 Ultra also sports a 1-inch 50MP Sony IMX 989 primary camera, a 50MP Samsung JN1 ultrawide camera, and another 50MP Samsung JN1 selfie snapper.

The device also sports a 64MP OV64B1B sensor with night vision capabilities and gets support for thermal imaging. For thermal imaging, the Ulefone Armor 28 Ultra uses the ThermoVue Pro app, which can output video at 256 x 192px. The Armor 29 Ultra flaunts a 6.67-inch OLED display with FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 2200 nits peak brightness, and a small circular display on the rear.

The flagship rugged smartphone is backed by a 10,600mAh battery with support for 120W wired fast charging tech and 50W wireless charging tech. Ulefone also debuts the device with Wi-Fi 6E, NFC, Bluetooth 5.4, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a single speaker. 

In contrast, the Ulefone Armor Mini 20T Pro sports a smaller 4.7-inch display with HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 SoC paired with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 2.2 internal storage. The device is backed by a 6,200mAh battery with 33W wired and 15W wireless charging tech.

Ulefone also equips the device with Wi-Fi 4(n), Bluetooth 5.2, NFC, IR Blaster, and a headset-free FM receiver. The Armor Mini 20T Pro also sports a thermal camera, a 50MP Samsung JN1 main camera, and a 32MP selfie camera. The smartphone also gets IP68 and IP69K ratings with up to 20m/66ft underwater and drop testing up to 10m/33ft.
