iQOO 12 5G and Vivo X100 Pro 5G Funtouch OS 15 Trial Program Goes Live

iQOO and Vivo launched the iQOO 12 5G and Vivo X100 Pro 5G flagship smartphones in December 2023 and January 2024 in India. The company has announced the registration of the preview of Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 for the general public.

The Chinese smartphone giant reveals that the Android 15 preview update will start rolling out to the smartphones starting September 4 in India. The preview update will be limited to the first 500 users of each device. The iQOO 12 5G and Vivo X100 Pro 5G users must ensure that their smartphones have been updated to the latest version, i.e., 14.0.13.3.W30.V000L1 and 14.0.19.2.W30.V000L1.

The smartphone giant adds that the users are advised to take a backup of complete to avoid data loss after updating. The users can enrol for the preview of Funtouch OS 15 based on Android 15 by following the below-mentioned steps.

1. Open the Settings menu, tap on System Update, and select the Settings icon.
2. Choose the Trial Version and fill in the necessary details required by the brand.
3. Head back to System Update to check if any updates have been received.

The Android 15 preview update will bring access to multiple news features of the Funtouch OS 15 for the flagship Vivo and iQOO smartphones. To recall, the iQOO and Vivo rolled out the Android 15 Developer Preview updates to their flagship smartphones in May 2024.
